June Progress Update: Insert MPC!

The Final Copy of the Insert is Here!

The final insert design arrived today and it has been approved! It's so cool to see all the game's components have a proper home. With the insert down, there's nothing standing in our way to the rest of the MPC (manufactured production copy) components. Take a look at the insert and how the components fit inside!

Timeline

My next update for July will likely be a fairly accurate timeline of the project. As far as I can tell, we are still on track for October fulfillment, but I'm really hoping it can be done earlier. Stay tuned for these updates as it will give you an idea of when cards will be charged, addresses locked, etc.

We are way way way way way way beyond the deadline, but if you are one of the 55 people who still haven't completed the Backerkit Pledge Manager, complete it as soon as you can and reach out to me ASAP either via Kickstarter or email at [email protected] if you have any questions.

The earlier you reach out the better the chance to get a copy of the game. Do not wait until others are receiving their copies to realize you never completed the Backerkit survey!

May Progress Update: Second (and final) PPC!

PPC Approved!

We received the second batch of PPC components and everything looks great! This means we can move on to the manufacturing process. Next we will receive an MPC (manufactured production copy) of exactly what the final product will be, and then mass production begins. We made minor changes to the previous PPC components we received, so the images below may not be too exciting, but maybe you can see some of the color changes through these photos:

As you can see, we basically made the colors a bit more vivid, and we think it's closest to how Abi envisioned the art when she made it. We are so excited to be moving on to the next big step: manufacturing! I'm happy to say with this PPC approval, we are still on schedule to deliver October 2023.

In the meantime, I'm making sure all preparations are made for a smooth fulfillment. Stay tuned for more updates on estimates for when cards will be charged and when exactly games will ship!

April Progress Update: First PPC!

The First PPC (Pre-Production Copy) Arrived!

For the most part, it looked great! But there are a few changes to be made, so we are awaiting a second PPC before approving. The changes are small, mostly adjusting colors because it looks a little duller than we envisioned. Even though all our friends and family think it looks great as is, we know it can be better! All proofs for the second PPC have just been approved, and we should have it soon.

That being said, take a look at some pics of the first PPC!

It's awesome to see the highest quality version of our game so far, but it is only going to get better than this! I'll provide an update once the next PPC arrives.

March Progress Update: Meeple Samples!

Deluxe Meeples and Captain Meeple Samples Arrived!

I just received the first samples of the Deluxe Gatherer Mushling Meeples and the Captain Mushling Meeples. I love the way they turned out, and I'm excited to share some pics of these fellas with you all!

Samples of the Add-On Meeples are in progress too, so I'll be sure to share photos of them as well when I get my hands on them :)

PPC Underway!

The pre-production copy (PPC) process has been started with the first manufacturing deposit to our fantastic manufacturer, Panda Games. With some minor adjustments to some previously approved files, all proofs of the files are now approved. Nothing is stopping us from moving forward to getting the pre-production copy started!

Table Top Simulator Mods Updated!

A bit late, but I got around to updating the TTS versions of Mycelium with the final cards. The biggest changes you'd notice are the Hero Mushling cards with full artwork (12 cards instead of 8 because of the stretch goals), the updated rulebook, and a much needed Nutrient Card symbol change to make things easier to read.  If you want to check out all the latest components in digital form, check out the TTS mods I made here: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198069786554/myworkshopfiles/?appid=286160

Also remember to turn Mod Threading off if you are having issues loading the game.

Make any last minute changes!

This is your last chance to make any changes to your order. This is also your last chance to complete the Backerkit survey, which includes both providing an address AND entering a card to pay for shipping. I will be locking orders at midnight tonight (EST) so we can move forward with our manufacturer. Remember that if you do not complete the survey in time, you may never receive your game. If you somehow miss the deadline, email me ASAP and I will see what we can do for you (depends how late you respond).

Preorders/Late Pledges Closed!

Preorders/Late Pledges have closed and we will not accept any more orders. Aside from the last few backers completing their surveys, this means we have a final count of about 4200 copies of Mycelium to deliver! This is unreal and I couldn't imagine we'd get this far when I was first quoted for the game. Thank you all for the incredible support and we are so excited for all of you to get the game :)
