What is a pledge manager?
After the campaign, I will be sending all backers a link to our pledge manager, where you can confirm your address, confirm your rewards, and pay for shipping. You must respond to the pledge manager after the campaign to receive your rewards, so please make sure to check your emails for updates!

Will there be late pledges?
Yes! You will be able to late pledge from the campaign page before the pledge manager closes and receive the game at the same time as the Kickstarter backers. However, the Deluxe Edition will not be available for late pledgers! However however, the 2 add-ons will be available to late pledgers, so you can access all gameplay content even if you pledge late!

Can I upgrade my pledge after the campaign?
Yes! If you pledge $1 now and would like to upgrade to receive a reward after the campaign, you can do so through the pledge manager. However, after the pledge manager closes, you will no longer be able to change your pledge level.

What languages will this game be printed in?
This campaign will only be for English editions of the game. I do hope that after the campaign, we could work with other publishers to get Mycelium: A Mushling Game printed in other languages. But this all depends on the success of this campaign. The game is language dependent, mostly due to the ability text on the Mushling Cards.

Is there any chance these games will ship before October 2023?
Yes, but I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up. I would love to get these to everyone much faster than that, and we will do our best to attempt that. But shipping can be unexpectedly held up these days. We have 98% of the game complete and are working on our end with Panda Games as you read this to verify our design files to get to manufacturing as soon as possible!

Why is the age marked 14+?
14+ classifies Mycelium as a game rather than a toy for the sake of importing. The complexity of the game is light-medium and I do think a 10 year old can handle it! But I wouldn’t recommend the game for children under 10 years old without adult guidance. There is no adult content in Mycelium: A Mushling Game.

What’s the best player count?
Definitely 4 players, but 3 is still a great time! The 2 player variant works best with 2 players who know the game well, but can admittedly be a bit intimidating for 2 non gamers since they are playing the game 2 handed.

Will there be a solo mode?
During this campaign? Most likely not. I’m not very good at designing a solo game experience, and I frankly can’t imagine this game working without the interaction between the other players. If there’s a designer out there that has an idea and wants to make a solo mode work for this game, I’d be open to working with you!

Wait, I get 24 total meeples in the Deluxe Edition?
Yes! The Deluxe Edition includes the 12 Standard Edition Meeples in addition to the 12 Deluxe Meeples. You still only use 3 Gatherer Mushlings per colony, but you may mix and match the meeple shapes if you’d like!

Do I need the add-ons if I have a Deluxe Edition pledge?
No! The 2 add-ons are already included in the Deluxe Edition! Those add-ons are mostly intended for Standard Edition backers who only want 1 of the things (otherwise if you want both, just get the deluxe!)

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
